As we enter another new year, the Lord will help us to focus our trust on Him. This new year we can think of new possibility, new faith and new direction; however, we must make the decision to obey our Lord each day and submit ourselves to be guided by Him. We will have our true destiny only when we live a Christ-centered life.

Here are a few thoughts to help us make it possible:

Start each day with praying and reading the word of the Lord. We need to hear His voice and discern what He is saying to us. Write down any thoughts God may show you. There is a plan for your life. There is no more struggle, no more fear, no more anxiety when we trust our Lord. Mark 11: 22 says “Then Jesus said to the disciples, ‘Have faith in God.’” Another verse says: “Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.’ And his servant was healed at that moment.” — Matthew 8:5-10,13

When we study the Bible we read many of God’s promises. This will work for us as we know He does not lie. There is a power and anointing in His Words. When we take in His words by faith, we know God will help us share our year. We can slay any giant coming our way. The Lord will fight our battle. When truth is revealed, we can!

Each morning I pray and confess God’s plan to be revealed and health to be added in my life and family. All provision will come as we confess each day God’s faithfulness.

God's word is not void of power; man's word is void of power. "All things are possible" because it is God's Word. Without His word, all things are not possible.  God sent the angel Gabriel to give the "good news" to Mary. God didn't simply surprise Mary with the virgin birth, because He knows that the impossible can only be possible through the word of God.

She said in Luke 1:38, "I am the Lord's servant. May it be to me as you have said." Mary believed the Word that God spoke through the angel. Consequently, that Word was planted in her spirit until it became flesh.

Friend, let us start right this new year and know God is with us always. We can face anything that is coming on our way.
