Who we are.
The Sowers Ministry is a Christian nonprofit organization established in 1986 in Hong Kong and now based in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to reach the unreached people of Asia with the hope, love, and Gospel message of Jesus Christ. We are a team of dedicated men and women who are involved in missions, social projects, leadership and mentorship training.
We train pastors, leaders, and evangelists, plant churches, build schools, sponsor students, support widows and orphans, finance children's homes, drill water wells, organize feeding programs, host hygiene and health classes, provide free medical examination and treatment, and arrange relief teams when natural disaster strikes. Moreover, we encourage partnerships between churches and communities around the world that bring about total mobilization of people, prayer, and finances.
